여호와여!
대지 위 어둠을 몰아내는 밝은 태양처럼,
밤의 깊은 어둠을 지나온 우리를
주님의 찬란한 빛으로 비추어주소서.
다마스쿠스 언덕에서 사울을 만나셨던
정오의 태양보다 밝은 빛으로
오늘도 우리를 만나주소서.
불의와 죄악으로 가득 찬 이 세상 속에
주님의 공의로운 빛을 비추시고,
죄와 죽음의 늪에서 무감각하게 살아가는
우리의 무뎌진 죄의식을
주님의 빛으로 깨어나게 하소서.
쇠약해지는 우리의 육신과 피폐해지는 마음을,
병과 고통으로 신음하는 이들을
여호와 라파의 치료의 광선으로 보듬으소서.
오늘도 영과 육과 혼을 온전히 새롭게 하시어
주님을 기뻐 찬양하며 예배하는
감사의 날이 되게 하소서..
O Lord,
Just as the bright sun drives away the darkness that blankets the earth, shine Your radiant light upon us who have passed through the deep darkness of the night. Meet us today with a light brighter than the noonday sun that appeared to Saul on the road to Damascus.
Shine Your righteous light upon this world filled with injustice and sin,
and awaken our dulled sense of sinfulness
as we live unaware, sinking into the mire of sin and death.
Strengthen our weakening bodies and restore our weary hearts. Embrace those who suffer from illness and pain with the healing rays of Jehovah Rapha. Renew our spirit, body, and soul this day so that we may joyfully praise and worship You, living in gratitude for Your grace.
