주 하나님이여!
하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도를 저의 마음에 모십니다. 주님은 우주보다 크신 분이시요, 우리의 마음은 바늘귀와 같이 매우 작지만 우리를 구원하시려고 오신 주님은 낮고 낮은 곳에 작고 작은 우리를 기꺼이 찾아와주시는 분이심을 알기에 저의 작은 마음에 주님을 초청합니다.
오셔서 내 작은 마음을 주와 같이 넓혀주소서. 사랑을 넓히시고, 긍휼을 넓히시어 크신 주님을 닮아가게 하소서. 주님을 닮아가고자 주님을 매일 모시는 자가 참 된 그리스도인이요, 주님이 거하시는 처소입니다. 오늘도 길과 산 울타리와 같은 우리의 삶의 자리에서 만나는 모든 이들을 강권하여 주님 모신 내 마음에 채우게 하소서. 주님의 사랑과 긍휼이 필요한 이들을 내 속의 주님의 마음으로 기꺼이 강권하여 작은 내 마음에 품고 사랑하며 살게 하소서..
O Lord God,
I invite Your Son, Jesus Christ, into my heart. Though You are greater than the universe, and my heart is as small as the eye of a needle, I know that You, who came to save us, willingly seek out the lowly and small like me. So I humbly welcome You into my little heart.
Come and enlarge my heart to be like Yours. Expand my love, widen my compassion, and make me more like You. True Christians are those who daily invite You into their hearts and become a dwelling place for Your Spirit.
In the fields, on the roads, and behind the walls of our daily lives, let me draw others in by Your love and grace. May I bring those in need of Your love and mercy into the space You occupy in my heart. Grant me the willingness and joy to embrace them with Your heart within me, to love and live as a reflection of You.
