하나님,
오늘도 우리를 하나님의 나라를 위한 주님의 신실한 도구로 사용하여 주소서. 저는 도끼와 같이 강하거나 톱처럼 날까롭지 못하고 오히려 마른 막대기처럼 보잘 것 없고 힘이 없어도 천지를 지으신 내 주인의 손에 붙들리면 그것으로 충분합니다. 진정한 능력은 도구가 아닌, 주인에게 있으며 우리의 주인은 온 천지를 지으신 분이시기 때문입니다.
나아가 우리의 주인이신 하나님은 선하시기에 우리를 손에 잡히는 도구가 아닌 동역자 삼아주시는 분이심을 압니다. 아버지, 오늘을 우리 주님과 함께 살아갈 은총을 허락하소서..
God,
Today, use us as faithful instruments for Your kingdom. Though I may not be strong like an axe or sharp like a saw, and may instead seem like a dry, fragile stick, it is enough if I am held in the hand of my Creator, who made heaven and earth. True power does not come from the tool but from the Master who wields it—and our Master is the Creator of all things.
Furthermore, I know that You, our good and gracious Lord, do not treat us merely as tools but honor us as co-workers in Your grand purpose. Father, grant us the grace to live this day in partnership with You, walking in step with Your plans and purposes. May we be faithful to Your calling and find joy in being used for Your glory.
