하루를 시작하는 기도

하나님,

오늘도 주의 손을 내게 주소서. 우리를 위해 찢기신 그 손을 오늘은 꼭 잡아드리고 싶습니다. 저와 같은 이가 잡아드린다 하여 주님께 무슨 위로가 될까 생각하지만 수고로운 일상으로 거칠어진 아버지의 손을 어린 아들이 꼭 잡아줄 때 아버지는 작지만 따스한 위로를 느끼듯.. 오늘은 제가 주님께 작은 위로를 전하고 싶습니다.

아버지, 그럼에도 크신 아버지의 손에 꼭 붙들린 하루를 살고 싶습니다. 결국 진정한 위로와 힘은 아버지께만 있기에 아버지의 크신 손을 통해 위로와 힘을 얻고 싶습니다. 연약한 저의 영혼과 온 몸과 마음에 안수하여 주셔서 제 속의 수많은 제가 주 앞에 바로 설 수 있도록 은총을 베푸소서..

God,

Today, please offer me Your hand once more. I long to hold the hand that was broken for us. I wonder what comfort someone like me could give You by holding it, yet, just as a child who clasps his father’s roughened hand can offer a small but warm solace, I wish today to bring You a little comfort.

But still, I desire to live this day firmly held by Your great hand. Ultimately, true comfort and strength are found only in You, so through Your mighty hand, I seek to receive the strength and solace I need. Lay Your hand upon my frail soul, body, and mind, and grant me grace so that the many pieces within me may stand upright before You.
