하루를 시작하는 기도

하나님,

오늘도 우리에게 믿음을 주소서. 하나님을 보는 눈을 잃어버린 우리는 눈에 보이는 세상에서 눈에 보이지 않으시는 하나님보다 보이는 것들을 의지하며 살아가는 연약한 존재들입니다. ‘정말 중요한 것은 눈에 보이지 않는다.’는 누군가의 말과 같이 오늘 우리에게 정말 중요한 것을 볼 수 있는 믿음의 눈을 허락하소서.

그리하여 점점 악해져가는 세상 속에서도 선하신 일을 포기하지 않으시는 하나님의 일하심과 병상에서 힘겨워하는 당신의 자녀의 손을 꼭 붙들고 계시는 아버지를 뵈옵는 영광을 누리게 하소서..

God,

Grant us faith once again today. We are frail beings, often relying on the visible world rather than trusting in You, the unseen God. Like the saying, “What is truly important is invisible to the eye,” grant us the eyes of faith to perceive what truly matters in our lives.

May we witness Your steadfast work in a world that grows increasingly troubled, as You never cease to pursue what is good. Let us behold the glory of a Father who holds tightly to the hands of Your children struggling in their afflictions.
